Candidate for
Board Member; Orinda Union School District

I have chosen to seek another term on the school board because of my appreciation of the job, level of experience, and commitment to several long-term projects that I would like to follow to completion. During my tenure OUSD has made significant strides in delivering excellence in education to the children of Orinda with our strategic plan, the quality of our teaching staff, level of employee satisfaction and long-term planning commitment.

If elected I will continue to ensure that we fully implement our strategic plan and maintain the resulting programs at the highest levels possible. I am committed to working diligently toward successful fruition of the sales contract for Pine Grove, and the relocation of the district maintenance facility. I will also continue my work on the Legislative Council to ensure greater federal and state funding for our schools.
