As a District Manager, I have successfully worked with decision makers to deliver fiscally responsible policies; providing quality services and lower fees for residents. I bring over 24 years of demonstrated leadership and a wealth of experience in public service.

My professional career is focused on protecting the environment by maintaining water quality for recreational uses. I will bring the same focused protection as an East Bay Regional Park District Director by ensuring a balanced program for preserving open space, improving our parks and expanding and completing our trails system.

As a Commissioner on the City of Richmond's Parks and Recreation Commission, I contribute to guiding the direction of the City's Parks and Recreation programs. My community involvement and understanding of local park issues and demonstrated leadership skills will contribute to better policies on a regional level.

The Bay Area is fortunate to have access to miles of shoreline, public parks and an extensive trail network. Communities deserve access to safe, well maintained recreational facilities. I will use my years of experience to implement policies that provide an equitable distribution of programs throughout the Park District and I will strive to ensure the preservation and beauty of our natural resources.
