A Shared Vision and A Common Sense Approach

"Our exceptional quality of life in beautiful Moraga depends on thoughtful decisions made by strong leaders. I want to preserve what we love about our Town and work to make it even better. I look forward to serving you." - Ken Chew

I value our scenic hills, quality schools, sense of community and open space. I am committed to:

  • Protecting ridgelines, hillsides and scenic corridors from development.
  • Focusing future housing construction near existing commercial centers and away from our precious open spaces.
  • Working with the Cities of Lafayette and Orinda to improve the flow of traffic through the main corridors of Moraga Road and Moraga Way.
  • Revitalizing and enhancing the Rheem and Moraga shopping centers so that more Moragans shop locally.
  • Enhance recreational opportunities for our youth and seniors.
  • Ensuring that all plans for Moraga are discussed in an open forum with ample input from residents.
