My education and qualifications are: I was born and raised in Lodi and have been happily married to Patti for 28 years. Our son Erik is a Naval Intelligence Officer (NCO) and we have teenage daughters, Merrin and Maranda. We have been active members of Bethel Open Bible Church for 25 Years.

I am a retired Lodi Police Lieutenant, President of the Lodi Unified School District Board of Education, and I hold a Masters Degree in Management.

As a 25 year veteran Police Officer, protecting your family will always be my top priority. Our Sheriffís Department needs the resources to increase patrols and reduce response times to our rural areas. Our jail is inadequate and criminals are being released because of overcrowding. This must stop.

We must preserve farm land and control housing growth. Agriculture provides good jobs and economic vitality in our region. At the same time, we must find a balance between the need for entry level housing and maintaining the small town atmosphere and quality of life we enjoy.

Our children and grandchildren should be able to find good paying jobs, buy a home, and raise their families here.

Mi educación y calificaciones son: Yo nací y me crié en Lodi y he estado felizmente casado con mi esposa Patti, por 28 años. Nuestro hijo, Eric es un Oficial de Inteligencia Naval (NCO) y tenemos dos hijas adolescentes, Merrin y Maranda. Hemos sido miembros activos de la Iglesia Bethel Open Bible, por 25 años.

Soy Teniente Retirado de la Policía de Lodi, Presidente del Consejo de Educación del Distrito Escolar Unificado de Lodi, y tengo una Maestría en Administración.

Como veterano Oficial de la Policía por 25 años, la protección de su familia siempre será mi prioridad más alta. Nuestro Departamento del Alguacil necesita tener los recursos para incrementar las patrullas y reducir el tiempo de movilización para nuestros sectores rurales. Nuestra cárcel es inadecuada y los delincuentes son puestos en libertad debido a una falta de espacio. Esto tiene que parar.

Tenemos que preservar la tierra agrícola y controlar el crecimiento residencial. La agricultura facilita buenos trabajos y vitalidad económica en nuestra región. Al mismo tiempo, tenemos que encontrar un equilibrio entre la necesidad de ofrecer vivienda para los que compren por primera vez y de mantener el ambiente de pueblo pequeño y la calidad de vida que disfrutamos.

Nuestros hijos y nietos deben poder encontrar trabajos con buenos salarios, comprar una casa y criar a su familia aquí.
