(No candidates submitted answers to this question)

3. Do you think that the budget for this office should be increased or decreased and how should this be done?

Answer from Larry Stone:

Since 1995, I have returned $6.8 million to the county general fund unspent freeing up valuable resources for improved parks, law enfordement, health care and other importants County functions.

In terms of the Assessor's Office only, my top three budget priorities are retaining current staffing levels, technology enhancements and comprehensive and relevant professional and personal development training for all my staff.
