Price Controls on Gasoline. David Sanchez, a Man of Action!Two gallons of Gasoline is now reaching toward 8 Dolllars. Meanwhile, no one takes action. Let me be the first to take a step as a man of action. In Guadalajara, Mexico, my friend worked for the Office of Price Control which was created to stop the harmful effects of inflation. Inflation occurs when everything gets too expensive and the price of everything climbs up and out of control. It was inflation in the 70's that caused a mass immigration of Mexicans into the United States. Then, Mexico placed price cotrols to help solve the problem of inflation. It is time to push back gasoline prices before "inflation by windfall oil profits" causes more damage to the economy. Oil Companies have no brain and need to be guided, and price controls need to be applied. Today, oil companies are making billions in profits. Consequently, their actions are causing run-away inflation. Because gas cost more, others want to charge more to cover for their gasoline expenses. And the rich to get richer and everyone else to get poorer. Now, Gas is up 90 cents per gallon more than last year. If elected, I will place price controls on the price of Gasoline to reduce the cost. And I will also have a press conference on this matter. -David Sanchez, candidate for L.A.
