My Committment to You

One of my first goals when elected was to ensure that this office was viewed as an unbiased and user-friendly resource for the public.

I've been proactive in learning to be a professional city clerk and I made it a point to continue my education to stay abreast of changes in the city clerk field. Through this study, I met the qualifications, and was honored to receive, the title of "certified municipal clerk".

My staff of 8 receives compliments for its professional service. Together we continually work for efficiencies in our contacts with the public and city departments.

I will continue to live the promise I made to you in 1994 - that in this elected office there will be no games, no politics, and no causes other than an open government available for all citizens.

My commitment has been and will continue to be focused on what is best for the citizens of Torrance.
