Prior to 9/11, less than 4% of all containers were inspected upon their entry into U.S. Ports. Today, that number is a paltry 5%.
That means that 95 out of every 100 containers entering the
United States are not inspected!
The threat to American Security is very real. Terrorists, weapons, illegal immigrants, drugs ... all could be entering our nation through our vulnerable ports.
