Definition of Alien: "...belonging to another country or people; foreign; a foreign-born resident in a country who has not become a naturalized citizen..." (Webster's New World Dictionary, 4th Edition 1999)

Definition of Illegal: "...prohibited by law; against the law; unlawful; illicit; also not authorized or sanctioned, as by rules--n. An alien who has entered a country illegally." (Webster's New World Dictionary, 4th Edition 1999) Remember, we tried Amnesty in the 1980's and it told illegal aliens and the President of Mexico that U.S. laws can easily be broken and that American's are weak. What did we get? More illegal aliens! (P.C.= illegal immigrants)

Say "NO" to:Career politicians who didn't get the job done the first time, Lobbyist who are part of the problem, past elected officials of local cities, weak board members and business owners who hire illegals.

What steps would you take to secure the border? Delecia Holt's Response:  Illegal immigration makes the U.S. vulnerable to terrorists trying to penetrate our borders. "...Keep in mind, the enemy only has to be right once...we have to be right every time..." President George W. Bush. That is why I look at the big picture; every event is tied to another. Therefore, I will ensure that we as a country do the following: We must enforce "Amendment XIV, Section 1. of the Constitution of the United States of America" which clearly states the following "All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws." Since Mexico's President Vincente Fox and most illegal immigrants understand the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and have used it to gain illegal entry into this country by having what is termed "Anchor Babies" (an illegal parent having a baby in the U.S., their child by virtue of birth is now a U.S. citizen and they then use that child's birth to illegally remain in this country, playing on American's sympathy of not wanting to separate mother from child.

The 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution needs to be repealed to avoid this loop-hole in the future, plan for births by scientific means and replaced with a new "Amendment XXVIII" which would alleviate the issue of "Anchor Babies" and those who would mislead others about the intent by our forefathers when they crafted the Constitution. My plan would:

1)Require employers to check SSNs on-line prior to granting employment for an immediate verification of an applicant's SSN at the Social Security Administration's SSN Verification website located at http://www.socialsecurity.gov/employer/ssnv.htm and make tamper proof federal I.D. cards

2)If an employer knowing hires an illegal immigrant there must be harsh monetary sanctions and possible prison time for repeat offenders. Over haul the INS department, hire more INS officers, provide better training for INS officers and shorten the immigration process.

3)Actively conduct more efficient immigration screening utilizing international data mining databases such as World-Check Intelligence, CAPs, TIA (which was offered by J. Poindexter) as many terrorist use the guise of being from Mexico, other South American countries, European countries, other Asian and African countries or even Canadian to cross our borders illegally.

4)Make it a felony to illegally immigrate into this country and a felony for anyone harboring or assisting those who illegally immigrate into this country.

5)Re-activate our military bases in our Homeland (the United States of America) and around the world.

6)Re-institute the rapid development and production of military hardware for our troops (at a cost-effective rates).

7)Provide better pay, pensions, and healthcare to those that serve this country. If a congressperson earns on average $160,000 a year, why doesn't our military personnel? They are the ones on the front lines.

8)Provide the much need hardware to our military in and out of country as they may be needed to fight illegal immigration, after all who is better trained?

9)Provide much needed hardware to our Border Patrol Personnel (their weaponry should match or exceed that of their opponents).

10)Provide much needed hardware to our local police and sheriff's departments (their weaponry should match or exceed that of their opponents).

11)Provide much needed intelligence and terrorist characteristics identification training to our Border Patrol, Military, civilian military, National Guard, Police and Sheriff, airport security, Coast Guard and Port Authority Personnel to better identify potential terrorist and or illegal immigrants.

12)Better detection of underground tunnels via surface inspections and the use of GPS infra-red satellite imaging (USGS, NASA, etc.).

13)Better detection of safe houses scattered bout the country and utilized by human traffickers, drug traffickers and terrorist cells.

14)Work on better detecting and destroying enclaves used by terrorists to assist the funding and assimilation into the American culture.

15)Better inform the general public of the importance of due diligence on their part with regard to reporting suspicious activities by others (e.g., trust their instincts).

16)And many other intelligence gathering techniques that will afford immigration services the ability to readily identify, capture and speedily prosecute illegal immigrants prior to returning them to their countries and banning their re-entry forever (e.g., DNA sampling, etc.).
