Jerry's background

Jerry is a native of Cincinnati, residing for 20 plus years in Mt. Washington.

He is a graduate of Xavier University.

He received his law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, 1980.

Jerry began his legal career as a lawyer assistant to the Hon. David S. Porter, Judge at the U.S. District Court in Cincinnati.

Jerry & Debbie Metz have been married for 28 years, and have three children--Andrew, Matt & Angela.

Jerry's Uncle, the Honorable Edward J. Donnellon is a retired Judge of the Hamilton County Municipal Court.

Jerry is Secretary and a Board Member of the Ohio Chapter of the Scleroderma Foundation.

Jerry is a member of the Choir and Social Ministries Advisory Commission at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Anderson Township.

Jerry has been a long-time coach, judge, and referee of youth sports.

Jerry has written educational and reference materials for lawyers and makes regular presentations to improve the practice of law.
