The total cost of construction was about 70 million. Two lease purchases for ten million and five million each were used. Anything over the 45 million comes from the General Fund. General Fund is for daily operating funds - not building schools. Sycamore pays one million per year for this construction. Enrollment figures from 1998 show a decrease of 800 students. 88 personnel have lost their jobs and more to come. Where was the present Board while this was taking place. |
