ABSENTEE BALLOT VOTING

  • To vote an absentee ballot, submit a completed application or letter to the county elections official between 29 days and 7 days before the election. You may request one in person at the county office. A voted ballot must be received by the county elections office or polling place by 8:00 pm on the day of the election. Web sites of most county elections offices have an online form.
  • Effective January 1, 2002, all voters are eligible to request permanent absent voter status.
