A little about Michael's Ideas

I first moved to Sunnyvale in 1976, that is over 29 years ago and my wife was born and raised in Sunnyvale, as were our three children. In 1978 we purchased our home in Sunnyvale, and we have seen many changes over the years to Sunnyvale. I have always believed that a School Board members job is to improve the schools for our children and parents. In my past management positions I have found that it is best to get input from my people before making a decisions. I will open the meeting up and ask for more input from all. I have a wide background of knowledge and skills and I am very good at asking relevant questions so that we can find the right solutions. In the next few months and years we have some hard decisions to make and I believe that we need everyone's input before we can find the best plan for our schools. I believe that we must provide a change in leadership. We also need to look at term limits for the board. Having members on the board for 16 and 20 years is to long. It is time to let the other board members offer their input. I respectfully ask for your vote on Election Day, November 8, 2005 so I can be your voice on the council.
