The primary purpose of this election is educational funding in our public schools. It is imperative that we encourage voters to get out and vote. I support funding our schools , respectfully maintaining allotments for '05-'06 while requesting more aid substantial aid for NCLB."As we try to look into the future and try we must, whether we are thinking in terms of domestic or international problems, we must realize that our basic (function) is to learn to live with understanding with peoples of the world, at peace and in security. In our troubled times, we need to stir the imaginations and genius of the budding great minds of the students in this country..." Chief Justice Earl Warren 1954 If elected, I shall do my best to research legal channels to secure funds annually for our schools while enhancing gifted programs as well as proficiency in ELL students and Special Ed tutorial programs. The direction, structure, and basic functions of our Board remain solid and performance is good. Academic Excellence shall even reach greater heights within a safe environment protected by our staff, teachers, community service organizations, and parents through volunteerism, Home and School Clubs, and paraprofessional hiring. Our Board is strong, accessive to communication, and dignified. Successful students is our goal. Serving this community is my purpose. |
