Public education is the cornerstone of democracy. Therefore, governance of our schools is of critical importance to every member of the community.

The Ross Valley School Board is entrusted by the community to ensure that each student is provided a high quality education and that the public interests in schools are protected.

I pledge that, as a trustee, I will

• respect different perspectives and invite diverse views to inform board deliberations
• distinguish between board and staff roles
