Lee Pollard believes that our public schools are a fundamental part of our community and play a key role in our successes and quality of life

• For ten years on the board Lee has led the effort to build quality in our schools, advocating for the most effective classroom strategies for all students.
• Lee will protect teachers and quality education from the arbitrariness of Bush's No Child Left Behind. Lee knows that effective eduction is no testing, testing, testing.
• Lee has worked to increase salaries and staff development to support the great work done in the classrooms and keep our good teachers.
• We will be facing continuing pressures from state and federal forces challenging the gains we have made. We need Lee Pollard's experience and budgeting knowledge to ensure the District's financial health in an environment where the state doesn't keep it's funding promises.
• We need to continue empowering teachers and parents in dynamic partnerships to implement effective ideas and programs in the classroom.
