PROTECTING NEIGHBORHOODS

PROTECT NEIGHBORHOODS...NO HIGH DENSITY THERE OR ON OUR HILLS AND RIDGELINES... REPAIR THE COMMUNITY HOUSE!!!

Because of the Urban Growth Boundary all undeveloped parcels within the boundary are possible high density infill sites. This adds more traffic and noise to neighborhoods. The other attack is on our hills and ridgelines. For instance the building at Delong and Redwood and the Buck Center, both voted for by Eklund,yet she says she wants to preserve them.

The most important is the state of the city offices and the Community House...if financially feasible we should build the new offices on site and not wait to do the Community House but repair it now and then we could change it later if we need to!Make a decision to do something not study things to death, that keeps anything from happening that the PUBLIC wants.

I am a long time member of the Novato Historic Guild. I have over 25 years experience of attending City Budget meetings and a multitude of Planning, Design Review, and Downtown Plan meetings.
