I am a 40-year old mother of twin boys, married now 8 years to my husband, Jack. I was born and raised in Southern Marin and can't think of anyplace I'd rather raise my kids. My grandparents settled in Mill Valley in 1940 and both my parents attended Tam High. I graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Communications and then ventured off to Washington, DC, where I worked for national housing and policy organizations and volunteered for President Clinton's first campaign. I subsequently served as a staff member on the President's inaugural team.

Since moving home in 1995, I've lived all over Mill Valley - as a renter downtown and as a homeowner on Stanford Avenue. We recently moved back into town and enjoy being able to walk and bike with the kids. Over the last 10 years, I've held professional and management positions with the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, furthering my career in community & economic development with a focus on housing finance and land-use issues.

I've also been active in volunteer and civic activities in Mill Valley, with particular focus on parks and recreation. I am currently Vice Chair of the Parks & Recreation Commission. In addition to helping renovate and maintain our fabulous parks, I've had oversight responsibility for the Community Center, golf course, and a variety of recreation programs. In 2000, I chaired the creation of the Community Center Scholarship Fund and in 2002-2003, I chaired the Bayfront Park Masterplan Amendment project.

I now work part-time for the Federal Reserve Bank and other business clients which enables me to spend time with my family and further my contributions to the town I love so dearly.
