Re-elect Councilman Fernando Pedroza RESULTS & EXPERIENCE ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THEN WORDSOctober 25, 2005 Honorable Lynwood Resident Dear Neighbor: I was elected to the City Council Nov. 2001 and I have worked hard to reform our government in the last four years. As a Lynwood High School graduate and a 25 year resident, I'm proud of what I have accomplished on the City Council. After much thought and encouragement from family and friends I'm pleased to inform you of my bid for re-election to the Lynwood City Council. I'm running for re-election so that I may focus on the following issues: Hiring more police. Hiring Cross Guards for each School. Safe Zones around every school. Balancing the city budget without raising taxes. I'm proud to report that in less than four years I was able to bring the following accomplishments: ·New Senior Center to be completed Dec. 2005! ·127 Million in single family housing projects ·Hired 4 new Police Officers to combat drugs, prostitution and gangs ·3 Large Shopping Centers: Plaza Mexico, Pluma Center and Atlantic Crossings ·Reduced City Council Salaries ·Eliminated City Council credit cards ·Reduced trash rates, with free recycling ·Created anti-graffiti / beautification vine planting program ·Dedicated $4 Million to new streets ·Negotiated with Lynwood Unified School District so that 5 new schools were built ·Created over 1,000 new jobs I respectfully request the honor of your vote for re-election on November 8, 2005. Thank you for your continued friendship and support. Sincerely, Councilman Fernando Pedroza COMMITTEE TO RE-ELECT FERNANDO PEDROZA ID# 991345 11072 EVE AVE LYNWOOD, CA 90262 |
