This information is provided by the candidate |
Deborah Pacheco Board President, South Whittier School DistrictDear Neighbor: I am completing my first term on the South Whittier School Board. I am seeking reelection because I care deeply about the children of our community. South Whittier School District has a special place in my heart. My children and I have attended here and presently my grandchildren: Isaiah - 9, Abigail - 6, and Isabelle - 5 are enrolled. I believe each of our students deserves a quality education. South Whittier is a dynamic school district. We have experienced many accomplishments in te last four years: --Student test scores have improved overall, --School Modernazation at all sites, --Completion of the new wing at our middle school, --Worked to ensure each school site provides a safe educational environment, --Passed balanced budgets, --Maintained fiscal responsibility, --Greater parent participation, --Enhanced before and after school programs, --Anti-gang/grrafitti, ad drug free schools, --Recruited and hired excellent classroom teachers. This record of accomplishments reflects the great support from our parents,PTA, School Site Councils, teachers, administration, and community volunteers. I ask for your vote to continue these efforts on behalf of the children and community of South Whittier. Sincerely, Deborah L. Pacheco Contact me at: friendofdp@aol.com |
