Our way of thinking and viewing our community is antiquated. We must move into a direction for the welfare of our future generations. We must again go back to the standard of "promote the general welfare" for everyone.The Constitution states Government is to "promote the general welfare," not sales taxes. The "General Welfare" is for the entire population, for residents in old as well as new neighborhoods. Every resident deserves the same opportunities to have:
We need a new direction and new vision for our community, not just big box retailers. Why give billion dollar corporations millions of dollars to bring minimum wage jobs that keep people uninsured for medical care and on food stamps?
