Candidate for
Mayor; City of Palmdale

I was born in Seattle, one of eight children. After I graduated high school I attended the University of Washington. At the beginning of my junior year I moved to Southern California and have made it my home. I graduated from CalState L.A., became a teacher for seven years, and then moved on to the Assessor's Office.

As part of my job with the Assessors office I often came to Palmdale, appraising new, large businesses coming into the community. Palmdale's openess, clean air, and affordable housing appealed to me. The year of 2000 my wife, children, and myself finally bought a house in Palmdale and made our move.

After 25 years with my wife Valerie and rearing four children, we lost her due to a long illness in Jan. 2004. I am now the proud grandfather of two a girl and a boy respectively. I recently remarried to Marta Williamson-Cox who is running for Palmdale City Council.

In 2001 I ran for Mayor of Palmdale and I decided it was time to run again this year.
