Candidate Statement For Member of the City CouncilJoyce Randall Age: 48 Occupation: Educator Our 2nd District needs improving. Getting our District on the right track means removing barriers to team work and economic development. We must increase the utilization of tools to better our community. We must develop partnerships, providing jobs for those who are unemployed and under employed. We have seniors with unmet needs that can no longer be ignored. Our communities are built by families bringing traditional values to the business table. We must integrate tools for success that are tried and true. We need to be focused on a productive and thriving community. Team work makes the dream work. We can come together, hear each other, engage in productive dialogue, plan the work of the community, implement the plan and enjoy the prosperity of harmony. With over 19 years as a public school teacher and elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church, public service is familiar ground. I have lived in Inglewood my entire adult life. Our vacant lots represent vacant lives. Inglewood is an All-America City; a reflection of what America is all about. Casting your vote for Joyce Randall will enable us to give our district the representation we need and deserve. |
