Today, America's security is severly threatened by terrorism. We must secure our borders. The education system must be improved. The time has come to reform our social security and IRS tax codes. We must take steps to stop the errosion of our traditional moral values. As, a career military man, one who participated at the highest levels of the governing process in Washington, I was concerned that the only candidate for the highly responsible and demanding Congressional seat was being offered to a spouse out of sympathy reasons rather than substantive knowledge and experience. Today, America finds itself in the most perilous time in its history. National security is of the utmost priority, yet, we see a lack of solidarity in support of the war on terror. I have fought in Vietnam, participated in defense policy formulation at the highest levels of the Department of Defense, and taught at the Air War College. This experience has given me an in depth knowledge and appreciation of the gravity of the war on terrorism, and what is required keep America safe. Children are the hope and future of this Nation. We must secure our schools and strengthen our educational standards. We are faced with critical issues of reforming our social security program, and simplifying our tax codes. I am also concerned about the attacks on American traditions, our cultural beliefs, and a the growing decay of our moral fiber. As a result of the above considerations, I decided it was my duty to submit my name for the candidacy of the 5th Congressional district. Following is an elaboration of the issues I believe is critical to the future of America:
Issues of National Security Social Issues
Education
Support Social Security Reforms.
Income Tax Reforms
Moral Issues |
