EVENTS

  • Thursday, February 17, 2005 from 7 to 9 PM
    Live Broadcast Candidates' Debate
    Organized by the HSU Journalism/Mass Communications Department, The Arcata Eye, and KHSU.
    The six official candidates for a seat on the Arcata City Council are invited to attend.
    The debate will be simulcast on HCTV (Cox Cable Channel 12) and KHSU radio (90.5 FM).
    Location: the Senior Room of the Arcata Community Center (the "new" Community Center across from HealthSport)
    Questions will come from members of the audience, on-air phone-in questions asked by the caller, and from journalists.
    The phone-in number will be displayed at the beginning of the debate and repeated throughout the two hours. The phone-in number will not be announced until the debate begins.
