Questions & Answers

1. What are your qualifications for office?

I have been honored to serve the people of the Second District since 1993. I serve on the House Ways and Means and Budget Committees. Previously I was a partner in a Cincinnati law firm; associate counsel to former President Bush and Directory of White House Office of Legislative Affairs.

3. What do you see as the two most pressing issues you would address if elected? What plans do you have relative to those issues?

We must continue to improve Ohio's economy and win the war on terror. Ohio workers need the tools to compete and win in the global economy. This includes lowering taxes, reducing healthcare costs, and opening more markets to Ohio products.

On terrorism, we need to strongly support our troops who are disrupting terrorist cells every day and to continue to reform government to better protect us at home. The best defense is a good offense.
