Position Papers
Foreign Policy
The United States must return to the United Nations and focus our leadership on working cooperatively with all nations for peaceful and just solutions to the many issues facing the world.
Health Care
Health care is a human right. Today, 43 million Americans do not have basic health care insurance. This is immoral. We need to take health care out of the business equation. I support universal health care and a single-payer insurance program, publicly financed at the national level, administered locally, and privately delivered with freedom of choice of provider.
Energy Policy
World wide oil production will peak in a decade. Switching to safe renewable energy avoids economic problems of dichotomy between supply and demand; also tackles Global Warming and other environmental issues; creates jobs.
