My campaign is about creating progress and corruption clean-up working with Governor Schwarzenegger. It's about eliminating the pains caused by the Legislature.

Just like Arnold, I am an immigrant family-man and businessman. I also persevered to rise from a poor kid's life to success as an Air Force major, National Semiconductor's chief internal auditor and Silicon Valley's Assemblyman and U. S. Congressman.

As Assemblyman I wrote common sense laws such as G.A.I.N., California's workfare program, that returned over 300,000 welfare recipients to real paying jobs.

Next year I'll fight for new state laws to make sure every child learns to read, write and speak English by high school graduation.

I'll fight for a better business climate and the jobs we need. I'll start with repealing existing anti-business, anti-jobs laws that allow frivolous and shake-down law suits.

I'll fight to control state spending and to stop tax rate increases.

I'll fight for Arnold's tough law proposals against Legislative corruption.

I met our Governor and the Assembly's Speaker and Minority Leader. I am an independent thinker ready to work with all of them for progress!
