The Governor's reforms to stop legislative corruption are unadopted. Ernie Konnyu will fight for these corrections.
Corruption Reforms
The Mercury News, May 31, 2004, quoted Arnold,
"The people of this state do not trust this government. They feel it is corrupted by dirty money, closed doors and backroom deals." The Mercury reported that the governor's reforms on reducing corruption are stalled in the Legislature. Arnold and the people need help in Sacramento. Ernie Konnyu is committed to Arnold's clean-up including 24 hour reporting of campaign donations in excess of $1000. Ernie also supports banning contributions to authors of bills from that bill's sponsors. Meanwhile, until Ernie is elected, legislators will have collected massive amounts of special interest dollars.
