Yes, it's important to make Oceano an even better place to live.

Today a handfull of folks out of the 7500 or so population are asking for televised Board meetings. This could be a good thing for some of the people, however someone needs to find the funds for this added chore. I have been told that we may be in line to receive some of the Charter franchise funds, which could fund the necessary service. Now before I chose to go with this idea, I need to know how these fund are developed. Does this allocation of Franchise Funds mean that Charter Cable Company will be allowed to raise everyone's rates? If so how much? I look to the cinstituents, is this a service you really need or want... Please email me so I will know how you feel.

Have you looked at the Oceano Lagoon lately? I would life to see if we might find a way to partner with the State to enhance the lagoon.

How about some more Utility Undergrounding Projects? Lets search these avenues. In the past the local PG&E chooses different communities for such improvements, such as the downtown (Front Street) where we installed the older light standards. Lets look for more things that will make Oceano an even better place to live.
