To be successful in today's global economy, our children must have the best education and facilities possible. Every effort must be given to the youth of today as they deserve to be prepared for the uncertainty of the future. It will be my duty to bring a positive balance to decisions made by the school board to ensure that our children can compete successfully in tomorrow's economy.

My goals are:

1. To always put our children's best interests first in every decision.

2. To maintain quality in the classroom by providing the best instruction, facilities, programs, equipment, resources, technology and staff possible.

3. To upgrade library resources.

4. To expand computer usage and programs.

5. To expand vocational programs for those pupils who are not college bound.

6. To find solutions to funding issues.

7. To lobby for local control in implementing imposed federal regulations.

8. To recognize and reward the excellence of dedicated staff.

9. To assist in making Manteca Unified School District the best district possible.

10. To provide positive direction and leadership in policy making decisions affecting our youth.
