Reformation of the Campbell High School District

By Mark S. Graper

Candidate for Board Member; Campbell Union High School District

This information is provided by the candidate
We must move the Campbell High School District into the 21st Century or allow the state to destroy the public education system.
The parcel tax for the Campbell Union High School District is a very important step to make the district successful, providing our children with the tools to be successful through the 21st century. We need to funnel money into the classroom and teaching staff, and I feel the district has not been successful at doing this. The district seems to put the support of its' educators at a low priority, just below that of its' students. They seem to have personal agendas that do not make for a successful education process. I feel the school board has an important function to assure the best education for its' students. We need to realize that a school district does not run as it did in 1950. It is a business, and for the success of that business we must change how a district looks at its' goals.

I have been very active in the school system over the years, and would like to apply my knowledge to make the education of the children of Campbell High School District a success.
