Work with Los Angeles County Fairgrounds to implement solutions to area neighborhood concerns

By Amos Jackson Young

Candidate for Councilmember; City of Pomona; District 6

This information is provided by the candidate
Working more closely with, and not as an adversary of, the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds, will provide opportunity to balance our community's quality of life issues with the fairground's economic growth.
The Los Angeles County Fairgrounds contributes roughly two million dollars yearly to the City of Pomona's general fund. Therefore, striving to develop, implement and measure viable solutions which impact our communities concerning trash, traffic, lighting, sound and crime, is both a prudent and sound policy to follow.

The Fairgrounds offers the residents of District 6 a unique opportunity to help mold the direction of business growth within the fairgrounds and affords our community the chance to imput into the direction and design by which growth will take place.

It is sound judgement to have a seat at the table regarding the future economic stablity of our city. As your council representative, I will carefully consider sound community-oriented economic growth.
