CANDIDATE STATEMENT FOR MEMBER OF THE CARSON CITY COUNCIL

Harold Williams has been working for our city.

A 30 year resident, Harold Williams has been working to improve the quality of life in our neighborhoods as: Carson Public Works Director, Community Volunteer, Member of many City Commissions, and now Carson Environmental Commission Chairperson.

Harold will continue to make, Public Safety, Youth and Senior Programs a priority.

Harold has helped our children with math, leadership and communication skills that will benefit our children throughout their lives.

As the director of public works, Harold Williams play a major role in getting state and federal funding for two bridges over the Alameda corridor at Carson Street and Del Amo Blvd prevent major traffic congestion in Carson.

Under Harold Williams's collaborative leadership, a major neighborhood traffic dispute between two adjacent communities in north Carson was resolved with both sides feeling their concerns had been addressed.

As a Planning Commissioner, Harold worked hard to resolve land use and building issues before they could become a problem to the business community or residential communities.

While on the Mobilehome Park Rental Review Board, Harold strongly supported rent control and fought for the rights the mobilehome park residents.

Harold cares about the air we breathe and the water we drink, that is why he chaired the first ever environmental summit in Carson.

Harold will lead Carson with his own confidence, enthusiasm, integrity and vision towards a prosperous and progressive future.

Harold Williams is strongly endorsed by Councilwoman Julie Ruiz Raber, Former Councilwoman Mary Anne O'Neal, State Senator Betty Karnette, over 20 City Commissioners, Reverend David Buggs and numerous Carson Leaders.
