Reduce the number of transients on our streets.
Solutions to Santa Monica's "homeless" problem are not working. Below is a plan that would help reduce the number of transients and vagrants on our streets while getting help for those in need.
Stop the "traffic calming" madnesss and get traffic moving again.
Traffic increases at the rate of one or two percent per year, yet the City's goal is to reduce it by ten percent by forcing people out of their private vehicles.
Find solutions to parking problems
The City has already placed parking restrictions on two-thirds of the City Streets. The resultant mess means less parking available. Now, the City wants to allow employee and commercial parking back into residential parking zones as a "quick fix" for years of bad planning.
