Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Bill Walcutt

Candidate for
Member, City Council; City of Clayton

This information is provided by the candidate

Dear Clayton Neighbor:

I have proudly served this community as a former Clayton Mayor, Council Member, Planning Commissioner, and Vice President and Treasure of the Dana Hill Homeowners Association. I am a 22-year Clayton resident and I have a proven record of civic achievement, community involvement and innovative leadership.

My education includes a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration and a Master of Public Administration from San Diego State University. I have professional leadership experience in state and local government affairs, community relations, media relations, crisis response, marketing, and financial management for a fortune 500 company.

As your representative on the City Council for the past four years, I have demonstrated my commitment to preserving Clayton's small town ambiance, its rural character and its historic downtown. I have a good understanding of local and regional issues such as overcrowded schools, traffic, traffic enforcement, and preservation of open space. I will continue to work diligently to solve these important quality of life issues.

Please re-elect me as your advocate on the city council. I clearly understand that I represent you, the Clayton citizen, above all other special interest and I sincerely appreciate your support. Thank you.
