  • Occupation: Investment Banker
  • MIT - Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Finance
  • Fifteen years experience as a banker managing the budgets of a 500 million dollar business with 250 staff
  • President of the Happy Valley Estates Homeowners Association
  • Worked with neurophysiologists and education research experts and spent one year teaching children across the USA how to read and how to learn
  • Four daughters attending Lafayette Elementary Schools
  • Former part time seventh grade teacher of economics and finance and a regular volunteer at Happy Valley School in reading and math

Top Priorities if Elected
  • Increase the effectiveness of the application of technology (tools, processes, methodologies, and computers) in our schools
  • Raise the academic standards for our schools by basing our teaching methodologies on solid, educational reseach that demonstrates effective results
  • Strengthen our school's financial status to allow more funding for science, arts and especially foreign languages
