CHILDREN FIRST - Identify successful school districts and use their 'best practices" to enhance Antioch schools. Improve percentage of graduates and college attendees. (AYP) Improve Parent participation at every school. Build sorely needed 3rd High School on or below budget and upgrade all older schools in AUSD so that ALL schools are at same level of the physical plant. Get all schools on same traditional or modified traditional schedule.

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBLITY - Fully implement the County Superintendent's 2004 Recovery Plan, put in place active follow up and check points. Utilize technology to reduce costs and reinvest the savings where it impacts kids. Have an on-going cost reduction process and culture and reinvest the savings where it impacts kids. Improve average daily attendance by 1%, this adds revenue to the budget. Explore other revenue enhancers - Grants, donations, corporate donors, community donors.

SAFE SCHOOLS - Enhance security partnerships with Antioch Police Dept. Develop mentorship programs between Students. Zero tolerance of violence. Aggressively pursue and discipline those bullying other students. Consistently enforce campus and classroom rules. Report to parents how we are doing at every school.
