Fiscal ResponsibilityBy David GlasserCandidate for Board Member; Albany Unified School District | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
Expertise in fiscal planning and controls with over 21 years of service to public agencies.I have been a public finance professional for the last 21 years. I have worked with the budgets, finances and capital plans of school districts, cities, counties and other government organizations. Albany Unified has been through some tough years with its budgets. I believe that I have a great deal to contribute in helping make our finances sound as well as in finding creative means of funding. In particular, given the scope of capital expenditures planned in the coming period, I want to make certain that we have adequate and appropriate staff to oversee the construction program and thus avoid project overruns and guarantee project quality. |
