Overview of Dr, Eva Long's Democratic activities
I, Eva Long, am running again for Marin County Democratic Central Committee, District 2, because I believe the committee needs Democrats that model integrity and commitment to the democratic values and the diversity of opinion and point of view to balance the committee' s work. I have been a registered Democrat for over 40 years. I consider myself a moderate Democrat that values social programs with responsibile fiscal management. I am also an elected official and has been an active community member in Democratic activities and political campaigns for my entire adult life. A partial listing follows: ? Volunteered to Register Voters at shopping centers, etc. 1970- present ? Presented on educational issues at public forums for Democrats and explained California education funding, instructional programs and issues (1965-present) ? Hosted coffees, informational meetings and fundraisers for Democratic candidates for local, state, national campaigns, including local parcel and bond measures. She has been very active in campaigning for Superintendent of Public Instruction races starting with Supt. Wilson Riles, through the present Supt, Supported Assembly, Senatorial, Supervisorial, City Council and School Board races 19965-present ? Frequently hosted, co-hosted and coordinated Democratic actitivities, with organizations/individuals ? An active member of the Marin County Democratic Central Committee for ten years (1993-present) ? A member of Marin County Democratic Club late 90's to present ? One of the top silent auction donors/suipporters of the DCCM Marin fundraising event. (County Fair volunteer, telephone banking, register voters, Campaign Headquarter and election office volunteer since 1993-present ? Attends the elected women's meetings regularly as an elected official and presently the College board representative since 1997 and is a respected and responsible Democratic Party member.

Please VOTE for Dr. Eva Long, District 2 DCCM member on March 2. As a Democrat, I will "walk my talk". I have always demonstrated results by conscientious work and have been attentive to my civic responsibilities. I need your support and vote for Eva Long!
