Candidate for
Green Party County Council; County of Los Angeles; Supervisorial District 3

The County Council is the intermediary between the State and Local chapters. It needs to act in this manner. Past Councils have not carried out the obligations set forth in their own By-Laws! The Council must make amends with its past mistakes and evolve into a supportive, representative working group that emulates the Locals in their activism while coordinating in the model of the statewide committee. More over, the Council should be a source of mediation and minimization of divisions.

I want to be a part of a council that the Local chapters can respect! I want to build a council to which Locals can affiliate.

I want to support Green candidates by striving to build our county organization into a genuine source of volunteers and financing. We can do more than just endorse Greens!

I know I can strengthen the Council with new and innovative ideas, set the Green Party in LA County on a sustainable financial footing, increase openness, and accountability.

I will build a more activist Council that addresses county-wide political issues in tandem with our Local(s).
