Lawsuit Resolved
Councilman Bob Schniffer and myself met with two Board Members from EVMWD to resolve the lawsuit between the two agencies. After 1-1/2 years of negotiation we were able to agree on a plan that would hold both parties to an agreement to keep the lake stable. We are currently and jointly following the agreement to provide water to stabilize the lake. Water quality has always been an issue and through the efforts of Bob Schniffer and LEWJA several programs are moving forward. Carp has been harvested to help the biology of the lake and an aeration system is being designed and should soon be installed to provide oxygen to the lake bottom.
