Reed sees many possibilities for his future -- technology, web design, particle physics, theoretical math, topology in logic. At the present method of teaching, an average student will still require 12 years of schooling before entering college. The use of 21st century methods of teaching, a student of average intelligence would only require 6 to 7 years to be mentally and capable of entering college.
We are not implying our teachers are inadequate however, they are teaching in the same manner, as they were 5, 10, and 20 years ago. If one, has a full understanding of how the mind accepts information and distributes information. Then they would

However, he believes there is a door to learning that automatically closes after a certain period, this is not so. Learning becomes somewhat more difficult simply because you must overcome negative input. Whereas an infant is absent of this negative field to overcome, thus only positive info is being absorbed.
Learning and comprehension of the materials you are learning for many students is a difficult task, therefore they become discouraged with school and either complete HS with no interest to further their education or simply drop out.
3-D teaching goes right to the core of the mind using sight, hearing, and participation (eye and hand coordination). Student and computer are the ingredients that make this type of learning possible.

The Goal we seek is to teach every student the history of America, its constitution and what it means. This is the baseline (starting point). From there, we go to basic reading, writing, and mathematics this would be all accomplished by the end of the fourth grade level.
During his or hers 4th level we go into small bits of information relate to every profession in existence today i.e. Biology, Mathematics, and so on. By the time his or hers completion of the fourth level we will have captured the curiosity of their minds.
At this point every student when ask "what would you like to be when you grow up" he or she will be able to give an infinitive answer. The fifth level will take each student into his or her choice of career, I must emphasize at this time the student is totally unaware of this type of education is taking place.
There is no pressure, or is there any assignments to be completed, they are just "enjoying" school. The computer programs will give them visual images along with verbal instructions, in essence a game. Creating fun at the conscious level, and teaching at the subconscious level where it is vital, that all-educational material must be stored.
As the students enter their sixth level, they will have a strong desire to put more emphasis on the career path they have chosen. This will be their decision and not the instructor; the subconscious is now beginning to interact with the conscious level. The first step of the goal will have taken place.
During the sixth level, he or she will begin working with college level material (minimal) to get them ready for a higher level of the learning environment. Some will be interested in Science (biology) others into computer engineering, and others into computer programming and other fields.
By the time the 7th level has been completed they will be fully capable of entering college at whatever career they have chosen. The next goal is condensing a 4-year college into a 1 or 2 year experience WITHOUT CONPROMISING the level of education. Just using totally new concepts of learning, special software programs will be developed to accomplish this mission it will be a tough road because of the current mindset of the educational process, and many will disagree.
The above programs support is cost effective and allow a higher degree of learning in a lesser amount of time. These students may be only in their teens however; their minds will be that of someone who has gone the distance of the traditional 12 plus 4.
The above is just an example of the direction the 21st century will be taking us in education and higher learning.
