I respectfully ask for your vote to continue to serve the children and families of our district. I was appointed to the board of the Salinas City Elementary School District April 7, 2003. Having taught in this district for 20 years I understand the policies, the curriculum and the needs of its children. I have thirty years teaching experience in public education, 15 of those in Special Education. I have lived in Salinas for 26 years and have been an active member of the community. My two grown children attended Roosevelt and Kammann schools. As an advocate for Public Education, I am dedicated to making the best decisions for our children as well as the health of our district. Finally, I am committed to help restore the respect and communication between staff, parents, and administration that is vital to the life of our district. |
