Judge Lee H. Hildebrandt, Jr. was elected to the Court in 1984 at the age of 37. He was re-elected in 1990 and again in 1996.

Judge Hildebrandt received his B.A. degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1969, and his J.D. degree from the University of Toledo in 1972. Upon admission to the bar in 1972, Judge Hildebrandt was in private practice until be became as Assistant Hamilton County Prosecutor in 1978. He then served as a Referee in the Domestic Relations Court until taking his seat on the Appellate Bench.

Judge Hildebrandt has been and continues to be active in numerous professional and community organizations. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of ProKids of Cincinnati, as President of the Lawyer's Club of Cincinnati, and as Chief Justice of the Court of Appeals Judges Association. He and his wife, Barbara, reside in Cincinnati.
