1. How would you implement your top priority?

Answer from Greg P. Harris:
Our country has regressed to the failed economics of the 1980's. Raiding the social security trust fund to support major tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans is irresponsible and unfair. To help working families and reduce poverty, we need affordable healthcare, universal childcare, and a guaranteed living wage. To encourage reinvestment in Cincinnati and its older suburbs, we need smart growth policies. To protect seniors, we need a prescription drug benefit included in Medicare.
Answer from Steve Chabot:
The slow economy and high taxes are hurting families. I have helped enact tax relief legislation that cuts income taxes for all Americans, reduces the marriage tax penalty and increases the child tax credit. We need additional tax relief and economic stimulus legislation that will return money to individuals and small businesses - spurring economic growth and job creation. We must also eliminate wasteful federal spending, balance the budget and pay down the national debt).
