Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Atascadero Unified School District

My wife Sharon and I have been married for 29 years. We have lived in Atascadero for fourteen years. All of our children have attended schools in Atascadero Unified School District. I am currently a custodian with the San Luis Obispo County Schools. I also hold a contractor's license. I have six years experience in school maintenance.

I am a board member of the Tri-County Coalition which supports and lobbies for education. I am or have been involved as a parent and community member in the AUSD Strategic Planning Committee, School Site Council, PTA, Athletic Boosters, Atascadero Education Foundation, and AHS Band & Drama, just to name a few.

I am a past President of the Atascadero California School Employee Association. I trained and facilitated "interest-based bargaining."
