Be Prepared!

As a School Board we need to plan effectively for the present and future housing needs of our students.

I am a candidate for the EUSD Board of Education because I have a sincere interest in the education of our children, our most valuable resource. In our diverse school district with quality employees, I will work to maintain and improve the educational opportunities of our students while being a force for fiscal responsibility. Our district enjoys the services of highly qualified and talented employees. As a Board, we need to continue to support our staff and the leadership of our superintendent. Our district is moving in the right direction and it will be my goal to continue this movement.

As a Board we need to plan effectively for the present and future housing needs of our students. I will support the efforts to build new schools in an effort to decrease the high populations now present at most of our schools. Future school sites and well maintained schools are crucial to the success of our community as well as the Escondido Union School District and the future quality of life in our city.

I am prepared to devote the time and energy over the next four years as a member of your EUSD Board of Education to achieve these goals.
