- Children at Earl Warren & Torrey Pines, attended Solana Beach Schools; twenty-six year school district resident with husband, Hank
- Charter Member Solana Beach School District Strategic Planning Team (1994 - present)
- Past Site Council Member, Solana Vista School; Member of PTA and Active Parent Volunteer
