I support the proposed acquisition of the Felton water works by the San Lorenzo Valley Water District.The water works of Felton's Citizens Utilities have been purchased by American Waterworks and subsequently acquired by the German multinational corporation RWE Aktiengesellshaft, which plans to export our water. I pledge to do everything in my power to correct this situation and I support the proposed acquisition of the Felton water works by the San Lorenzo Valley Water District. The community needs to maintain local control of our precious water resources. For-profit multinational corporations will not be sensitive to the needs of our local community or the environment. |
